Therefore, utilizing natural resources as renewable energy has various benefits for the environment. By utilizing natural resources, we can all keep the environment healthy, green and become an important part of protecting the earth for a better future.
As an integrated digital infrastructure company in Indonesia, Biznet is also part of implementing a sustainability strategy that focuses on the environment and social, with the aim of showing how our business growth is also in line with environmental and social awareness. However, to implement it in daily activities, renewable energy has various energy sources that also have benefits, this will also be discussed in the January 2024 edition of Biznet Inspire. What is Renewable Energy?
In today’s modern era, the need for energy sources continues to increase, and there is concern that these energy sources will run out. Because of this, there is an alternative energy source that is increasingly popular among society, namely renewable energy. What is renewable energy? Renewable energy is an energy source that is available from nature and can be utilized continuously because the energy comes from sustainable natural processes. Renewable energy was born as a solution to the potential limitations of non-renewable energy sources that are widely used today. Then, how can we utilize this renewable energy? An example is utilizing solar energy to produce electricity or wind energy to drive turbines, so that we can meet energy needs without damaging the environment. Here are some of the benefits we use or implement renewable energy in everyday life.
Reducing the Impact of Global Warming
Many studies show that prolonged use of non-renewable energy, also
known as fossil energy, has negative impacts, including global warming.
Therefore, renewable energy can be used as clean energy that relies
on natural power to produce electricity and so on, without damaging
nature and the environment.
Improve Health and Quality of Life
Air pollution arising from the use of fossil fuels is one of the factors that
causes disease and reduces the quality of people’s health. By utilizing
renewable energy as alternative energy, this pollution itself can be reduced
or eliminated so that the air becomes cleaner, and then it can improve people’s
health and quality of life.
Unlimited
Fossil fuels, which rely on coal and petroleum, can run out at any time
and are clearly different from renewable alternative energy sources,
which will not run out because their energy comes from sustainable
natural processes. However, even though this energy will not run out,
we still have to save on its use.
Save Resources and Costs
For some people, perhaps using renewable energy is still considered expensive,
one of which is because of the high price of solar panels. However, if you recalculate,
the initial payment is indeed higher, but then the user does not need to depend
on continuous electricity because the energy in the house can be filled from
sunlight during the day, so subsequently paying electricity costs will be more efficient.

Big Bang Festival 2023
It is the largest warehouse wash exhibition in Indonesia, such as fashion, beauty, electronics, and other multi-products. The event was held on December 22, 2023 – January 1, 2024, until the turn of the year, located at Jakarta International EXPO Kemayoran, and was also enlivened by a number of local musicians. Biznet also participated by providing the best Internet connection to support the smooth running of the event, besides that Biznet also provided free WiFi Internet access in Biznet booth area, where participants could upload the excitement of the New Year event to social media.

Benefits the World
Renewable energy is energy derived from natural resources that can be renewed and brings many environmental, social and economic benefits. By utilizing these natural resources, we can significantly reduce the use of fossil fuels and mitigate the adverse effects of climate change. So many countries around the world are developing various kinds of renewable energy. Here are some sources of Renewable Energy that can be implemented for daily activities:
Solar Panels
Solar power is generated by utilizing solar energy through photovoltaic cells installed on the roof or facade of a building. The advantage of using Solar Panels is that it can reduce a company’s energy costs while lowering its carbon footprint.
Wind Turbines
Wind power involves the use of turbines to collect the kinetic energy of the wind and generate electricity. It is a very clean source of energy, which does not emit any pollution or produce any waste during operation.
Water
Water power produces large amounts of natural renewable energy. The process of converting water energy is relatively simple, using a water wheel, which converts the powerful flow of water into kinetic and generates electrical energy.
Battery Storage
The technology of battery storage enables energy to be stored when it is produced. The stored energy can then be used when it’s needed. The use of battery storage can help reduce dependency on the electrical grid, and facilitate the integration of renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind in office buildings.
