A More Innovative Digital Experience
Hello from
Our President Director.
The adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is growing rapidly. AI technology is reshaping multiple sectors, including education, healthcare, industry and manufacturing. This fast-paced development cannot be separated from the support of reliable digital infrastructure, such as AI Data Centers, which are capable of serving user demands on a global scale. As AI continues to evolve at an accelerated pace, we see this as new opportunities and challenges in managing digital infrastructure, driving the demand for large-scale data processing and computing capacity. Therefore, AI-ready Data Centers play a crucial role in ensuring the performance, speed, and efficiency of AI-driven systems.
In the April 2026 edition of Biznet Inspire, we will explore the AI Data Center and its differences from conventional Data Center commonly used for business applications and data storage. This edition will also highlight how Biznet is contributing to digital advancement, including the development of AI by developing an AI-ready Data Center in Bali.
AI is advancing rapidly and helping people address future challenges more efficiently. However, it is also important to stay alert, as technological advancement can be misused for cybercrime. We therefore encourage you to remain cautious and be mindful of the potential information misuse and digital security risks.

Why Are AI-Ready Data Center Growing in Demand?
In the digital age, data centers play a crucial role as a key driver of accelerated technological innovation. As a central force behind digital technology advancements, reliable and adequately equipped data center infrastructure is essential for delivering high-performance computing capabilities. The increasingly complex development of AI has transformed data centers into more than just data storage, but also a global-standard foundation to support the needs of increasingly adaptive technology workloads. For this reason, AI data centers are designed with high computing capabilities and even greater, more stable data storage capacity, enabling them to better support AI needs.
Fostering Digital Transformation in Industry
According to research conducted by IBM on the use of AI in Indonesia, 85% of business leaders
across various sectors are currently using AI to meet operational needs, both for internal and
external company purposes. These industries are leveraging AI technology to improve process
efficiency, accelerate decision-making, and process data to generate more relevant and accurate
insights. Today, AI has become an integral part of business strategies in the digital transformation
of numerous industries.
The Growth of Generative AI
Advances in AI technology offer promise for its potential. AI is now being adopted across various
industries, including services, marketing, and others, making its role increasingly significant in our
daily lives. Today, many companies use generative AI not only for automation alone, but also to
create solutions by analyzing massive amounts of data to generate images, audio, predictions,
recommendations, and interactive products. This surge in AI technology has created an urgent
need for a much larger and more robust digital infrastructure, requiring high computing capacity,
massive data storage, and fast and stable network connectivity. This has led to an increasing
need for AI-Ready Data Centers to support workloads.
Dedicated Infrastructure for High Workloads
Not all data centers are built to manage complex workloads such as large-scale AI deployment.
Data centers optimized for AI typically feature dedicated computing technology, massive data storage,
and more efficient cooling systems to maintain performance when processing data in real time. As a
solution and foundation for preparing for the AI-driven digital era, along with supporting future digital
infrastructure needs, Biznet is presenting its latest innovation by preparing to build the first AI-Ready
Data Center in Jimbaran, Bali. This initiative is in line with Biznet’s commitment to providing digital
infrastructure ready for future AI-driven technological advancements.
“Every Data Center in the future will be generative AI-enabled.“

DID YOU KNOW?
Conventional vs AI Ready Data Centers,
What’s the Difference?
The world has now entered the era of digital intelligence, where AI no longer simply supports everyday activities, but also helps analyze data, support decision-making, and drive innovation and efficiency across industries. Today, AI is increasingly used for business analysis, customer care services, and even as a reference or recommendation engine for digital content on social media, all of which demand significantly higher computing capacity compared to general digital usage. As AI adoption continues to grow and demand for large-scale data processing, new challenges are emerging and accelerating the evolution of digital infrastructure from conventional Data Centers to AI-Ready Data Centers. In many ways, AI data centers still resemble traditional ones, since both rely on servers, storage systems, and networking equipment. But what really makes a conventional Data Center different from an AI-ready one? Let’s take a closer look at the technology behind AI-Ready Data Centers.
Understanding the Main Function
Conventional data centers are commonly used as the backbone of everyday digital services, including websites, business applications, and cloud computing. AI data centers, on the other hand, are not limited to storing and distributing data, but are also designed to process data on a massive scale with a strong focus on high-performance computing capacity. This makes AI data centers more active in function, as they serve not only as storage facilities but also as platforms for data processing, learning, and AI model training.
Computing Requirements
The advancement of AI certainly requires far greater computing power. That is why AI-Ready Data Centers are equipped with high-specification infrastructure, such as powerful Graphics Processing Units (GPUs), large data capacity, higher power consumption, and strong network connectivity with low latency to ensure that large volumes of user demand can be served quickly.
Higher Power Capacity of AI Data Centers
AI data centers are designed with substantially higher electrical capacity to accommodate AI server operations. Power density can reach up to 100 kW per rack, significantly higher than conventional data centers, which generally require only around 3 kW per rack.
High-Performance Cooling Solutions
The growing intensity of AI usage also highlights the importance of infrastructure readiness. The wider AI is adopted, the greater the workload placed on data centers, including the challenge of extreme heat. Therefore, AI-Ready Data Centers implement liquid cooling systems to provide more efficient temperature control and maintain operational stability amid rising and fluctuating workloads. Conventional data centers, on the other hand, still generally depend on air cooling systems.
