In its 26-year journey, Biznet has been building connectivity and digital infrastructure in Indonesia. Over the past two decades, many things have changed. We have seen how technology has increasingly become a major part of everyday life. However, one thing that remains the same is the need to stay connected.
We also reflect on how the demand for technology continues to evolve. Artificial Intelligence (AI), for example, presents new challenges that require not only user-side technology but also robust infrastructure to support it. This is what drives us to continue building and strengthening Indonesia’s digital infrastructure, including through our newly operational AI-Ready Data Center and the ongoing expansion of our fiber optic network to meet the society’s digital connectivity needs.
Through this special Biznet Inspire anniversary edition, we would like to invite you to take a closer look at the various aspects behind the technology we use every day. This includes how more and more activities are now being conducted digitally, which means the need to stay connected is also growing. With that in mind, as we celebrate our 26th anniversary, we would like to celebrate together with our loyal Biznet Home customers by providing an additional 100 Mbps of bandwidth throughout the month of October 2026.

Biznet Launches AI-Ready Data Center in Bali
Advances in artificial intelligence technology, commonly known as AI, have brought about significant changes in how we use technology in our daily lives. To meet these needs, Biznet has launched the Biznet Data Center Badung Jimbaran BL2, a data center facility that not only offers a conventional data center but also features the latest generation of AI Data Centers. Located in the AYANA area of Jimbaran, this data center has been in active operation since July 2026. So, what makes this facility ready to support computing needs in the AI era?
Advanced Infrastructure Behind the Algorithms
More than just providing the results of the prompts we request, behind the scenes, AI requires
adequate infrastructure to process and analyze large-scale data. The more complex the AI
technology used, the greater the computational capacity required. The use of GPUs (Graphics
Processing Units) for various AI needs also results in a greater computational load; this situation
requires data centers to have infrastructure capable of supporting the necessary power,
cooling, and rack specifications.
How Much Power Does AI Require?
At the Badung Jimbaran BL2 Data Center itself, Biznet offers two different types of data
centers. For the AI data center, Biznet provides significantly higher power capacities of
up to 145 kW per rack, compared to conventional data centers, which only provide up
to 10 kW per rack. This difference in capacity reflects the significantly greater power
requirements of the infrastructure needed to support high-density racks and GPUs.
Liquid Cooling Responds to the Challenge of High GPU Intensity in AI
AI infrastructure requires support from various data centers, where machines operating
24/7 naturally require the right cooling technology to prevent the GPUs from overheating.
Biznet’s own AI-Ready Data Center utilizes a combination of Chilled Water and Direct
Liquid Cooling systems that are directly routed to the servers. The Chilled Water system
is highly efficient at cooling large-scale data center areas comprehensively, while the
Direct Liquid Cooling system is also highly effective at addressing the heat challenges
posed by AI servers with computational performance that can consume enormous
amounts of power.
